STRESS

How does stress affect YOU?

For some, its an upset stomach. For others, recurring headaches, back pain, or muscle stiffness. Still others respond with nervous twitches, allergic reactions, or sensitivities to chemicals. Regardless of your particular response, the function of your nervous system is involved. Thats why chiropractic can be so helpful.

Stress has been with us since the beginning of time. Every era has faced its share of threatening situations. Today, the stressof work, project dealines, personal conflicts, and the demands on our time and money, take a huge toll on our health.

It may surprise you that your "feelings" of stress may have nothing to do with the stress in your life. Poor posture, prolonged sitting, an accident, or even an old injury can lead tospinal stress. Chronic pain and muscle tension can cause you to experience nervousness and irritability.

The chiropractic approach to stress is to help normalize the function of your nervous system by removing interferences caused by spinal joint dysfunction.

THE CHIROPRACTIC LIFESTYLE

Your nervous system controls everything! Chiropractic is based on the scientific fact that your nervous system controls the function of viturally every cell, tissue, organ, and system of your body. Your nervous system consists of your brain, spinal cord, and all the nerves in the body.

Chiropractors are experts in the care of the bones, nerves, muscles and connective tissues that make up about 60% of your body. All of the joints in your body are part of this musculo-skeletal system and its optimal function is necessary for overall good health.

Call to schedule an appt or free consult with Dr. Parker for more information about a care program that may include specific spinal adjustments, exercise recomendations, nutritional advice or other conservative methods of care based on your health history, age, current condition and lifestyle.

AUTO INJURIES

INJURIES:

Injuries that result from a motor vehicle accident are often not diagnosed correctly. Frequently, the pain or other symptoms of the injury are not apparent at the time of the auto accident. In fact, some auto injuries are hidden so well, they may be missed by emergency room technicians and could take weeks, months, and even years before actual symptoms show.

WHIPLASH:

A whiplash injury happens when a person’s head is suddenly snapped forward, then backward. The symptoms of whiplash are headaches, stiffness, and neck pain. Blurred vision and tingling sensations in the arms and shoulders are caused by irritation to the nerves, caused by even a slight misalignment of the vertebrae in the neck. Almost every person involved in an automobile accident suffers some degree of whiplash injury.

Visit our website and view one of our testimonials from a lovely young lady who Dr. Parker has helped greatly since her auto accident. http://www.parkercare.com/medical-pages/auto-accidents

Peripheral Neuropathy Seminar

..................as advertised in the TBT and City Times:

NEXT PERIPHERAL NEUROPATHY SEMINAR IS
THIS SATURDAY,

in our Tampa office, 4343 W. Henderson Blvd.
JANUARY 9TH
AT
11:00AM

Peripheral Neuropathy can effect hands, legs and/or feet...........

There are two types of symptoms with Peripheral Neuropathy; negative and positive.

Negative signs, which come first, are when damage to the nervous system, obviously, brings about a LOSS of a particular function. For exaample; loss of reflexes, loss of strength, loss of sensation like numbness. But these are rarely detectable to the patient, because the brain makes up the difference in the losses.

Only after some time do the sick and damaged nerves develop the positive signs of neuropathy; tingling , burning, biting, stabbing, shooting pains. This too is a reaction of the brain and the nervous system, unfortunately this over reaction tears apart the fiber of the patients’ lives.

DR JOHN PARKER CAN HELP!!!!!

If you or someone you know is having the symptoms of perpheral neuropathy then we urge you to attend this FREE seminar. The information received will be priceless and the care instrumental in helping you to begin feeling relief.
